Team for Leeds

Post by Bring it on » 12 May 2019, 18:30

After the last couple of weeks like see some changers

Tuner
Minkin
Pat
Blair
Edan
Rankin
Aston
Watts
Mcca
Millo
Jessy
Mcmeeken
Massey

Smith
Moors
Cook
Onail

That's if players are fit who I have picked
I like Trueman just think he needs a rest .
Was not sure to pick Rankin at halfs or full back young Turner as had some good games at the back .

Just my opinion others my not agree .

Rankin (Turner)
Minikin
Matauti
Blair
Eden
Trueman (rs)
Aston (ls) (Rankin)
Watts
Mcshane (Aston)
Millington
Mcmeeken
JSL
Massey

Cook
Milner
Moors/Foster/Clarkson/Holmes (fitness dependant in pref order)
Clark/Smith/Maher (fitness dependant in pref order)

If Rankin is fit and has trained as a full back at some point and has an understating regards plays etc! put him in. Creativity and pace is needed at full back and PM isn't given us it. If not Rankin then Turner.

PM to centre, much more likely to stop Hurrel and shore up that edge, frees Minikin up to go to the wing where he offers a threat and is far better then Egodo and Claire.

Let Aston play on the left and move Trueman back to right. Aston is the stronger threat with the ball at present plus will be in support of Blair if/when he offloads. Eden back in to provide a pace threat.

If Mcshane is injured let Aston play at hooker and Rankin in the halfs. Think Aston would be a threat from acting half and seems to put himself about.

Start with a strongest pack on the field, can't afford to give a head start away again. Ask the pack for intensity from the start.

Its a must win game in my eyes, regardless who plays.

It may be just two competition points up for grabs, but i dont think fans will stomach losing two games on the bounce to a poor Leeds outfit who have just lost to a lower league side in the cup.

The players need to be reminded of this till k.o.

Haha don't want bashing on my 2nd post .
I think a rest would do a world of good for Trueman
Can't be easy leading super league team around at 20 years
Of age most learn the trade in lower leagues or have senior half
In side .
