Sorry to tell you folks but the Club will do what they want when it comes to playing kit. Always have, always will.

No amber, cheapest material and extortionate prices for 'plastic' polo shirts are prime examples of how our opinion matters not.

They are also supplying Gloucester RU and Doncaster.
I’ve always felt we’ve had a rough deal from the so-called “big brands”. Let’s see what a local, small company can offer.

Can’t believe we didn’t shop around to see what’s in offer.
Then again .....
Tender process should be standard for everything above 5 grand or so

Just had a look on the Gloucester & Doncaster sites, their leisure ranges are up for the new season. The designs look conservative compared to some of the XBlades paint explosion designs. The Oxen motif isn't going to give Nike any sleepless nights mind!

According to the club’s email, 5 companies made it through to the quote stage.

The Gloucester gear looks very dull to me - same gear just a lot less vibrant - another fail in my books - going to be a hit with the middle 50% of the population - just a shame that the 50% middle ground is not the ones who pay the bills

So xblades were too 'out there' oxen is 'too conservative'? If you put our colours onto those shirts I think they'll look great. Gloucester ru is a kick n clap game they tend to be more bland in their shirt designs.

I'll look forward to see what we put out Then pass judgement.
