Spot on they threw kitchen sink at us first two sets when they realized they weren't going to have it there own way and were going to get banged they didn't fancy task so much
Imo that's what we've been missing all season let's hope it's here to stay

Cas loose... We're doomed, cas win and its cos the other team weren't making an effort. Christ on a bike enjoy the win, it was a bloody good one, oh, and happy birthday Daryl :)

I just don’t believe that those players put anywhere near the intensity or effort in that I’ve come to expect of a Wire team and do feel that being close to the semi was a factor in that.

But you’re also right in that it could also be symptomatic of their form too. I guess it’s just hard to be enthusiastic about a win where you don’t know where the line starts and stops.

Will be interesting to see how we go against a KR side scrapping at the bottom end of the table in two weeks. Whole different challenge .
Yes it will be like a cup final to hull Kr. A bit of a rest for cas but like you say it will test us out big time this game.

Anyone who thinks Wire didn't make an effort watched a different game to me.

They played with plenty of effort and the will to win couldn't be seen IE The urgency they showed to form scrums, etc! near the end, Austin continually urging players on and staying on despite picking up a knock.

Also, I think that was the most 'together' I've seen us look this year. All celebrated every good tackle, knock on, try as a collective.

Irrespective of who did what to who and when, who turned up,who didn't, it's pretty indisputable that on the day the best team won, let's take it and move on!

Yeah noticed that one too mate. It definitely felt a bit different.

I do notice Ollie Holmes is one of the players who makes as big effort to congratulate his team mates. Thought he was very good today. Looks to have given a bit of a boost to the team.

Let’s give a mention to the fans today.
I thought the atmosphere was the best for sometime.
I really believe the boys drew on it.
First time in a long time I’ve come away with no voice.
So a big well in to the fans.

Think Powell called him one of the 'emotional leaders' in his post match interview against wakey, said we'd missed him, looking true is that
