Re: Inu
Inu or Gelling would be an improvement on what we have, however I would give only either of them a 1 year deal and see how they go.
Inu seems to be good friends with Jesse and co.

Re: Inu
I know the lad who wrote the article, to say he’s not in the know would be an understatement. I’d love to sign Inu for a year but this article isn’t any proof I don’t think

Re: Inu
Until end of the season, same as clarkson.
Play for a contract for 2020.

Re: Inu
After saying a year, just read that he wouldn't count on the quota for as long as the contract. Would it be better to sign him on a longer deal and still have a quota spot open for the duration of his contract?Nobody wrote:Inu or Gelling would be an improvement on what we have, however I would give only either of them a 1 year deal and see how they go.

Re: Inu
Widnes have just make an announcement stating no more players will leave the club.
Not sure then we’re the inu and gelling rumour as come from.
They could be telling porkies.

Re: Inu
Whilst the offer of a contract 'til the end of the season is the sensible one from the Club's stance, if the player is offered a longer deal by another Club they are likely to take the longer deal.

Ah right. Cheers derby.
Re: Inu
If it were my choice it would be no thanks. In my opinion a very lazy player.
Personally, I’d rather stick with a 24 year old with potential than a lazy 31 year old that won’t get any better.

Re: Inu
Maybe that because he went to Widnes for the coin so no real incentive to do well. At Cas, he’d have a genuine chance of winning something.Tiger53 wrote:A lazy 31 year old that won’t get any better.
Re: Inu
Maybe, but if he only went for the money then that says something to me about his attitude/desire at this stage of his career.
It’s all about opinions but for me it’s a no, similar comments also apply to Gelling for me.

the bit about no more leaving would make sense as they have suffered a blow with 2 new signings.old cas lass wrote:Widnes have just make an announcement stating no more players will leave the club.

they had signed dom speakman on a permanent deal and luis johnson (ex cas) on a months loan from warrington.
however the RFL have denied them permission to play because the new boards budget has not been signed off by the rfl for the rest of the season.
