Re: Bye bye denny
Not going to go down well if so.
We will never improve if we continue to let our best players leave.
Continue in this vein and it won't be long before Powell leaves for a club where he won't lose his best players year on year.

Re: Bye bye denny
So he signed a long term contract.
We best get summat for him .
Hope it's not true if it is then cas will lose there fans.
This is making us a feeder club, we'll NEVER become a top four team on a regular basis.

Re: Bye bye denny
Don't blame him, the opportunity to play for a team who can hold onto their best players rather than sell them on means he will be playing in a team more likely to win trophies.
Many people expect players to be loyal to the clubs who they play for. However, it's a two-way street. The club should be showing loyalty to the players by improving the squad, not weakening it.
Solomona's try scoring speaks for itself - he is the best winger in the league.

If Evatiger says it's true, I'd be pretty certain it is.init wrote:Where is this announced?

Am bloody livid.
Why can't we keep these players.
So another player thinking the grass is greener.
Some players should be a bit more loyal to a club who brought him from a team going down and making him a bloody good player.
Am so frustrated with cas, we do it nearly every season, lose one of our best players. Geez

Re: Bye bye denny
Alternatively, shouldn't the club show a bit more loyalty to their existing players by strengthening the squad? Loyalty is a two-way street.old cas lass wrote:

I dread to think what Powell makes of it. He will not have wanted to lose one of his best players.
I can't imagine him staying much longer now. As soon as Smith leaves Warrington I expect him to move there so he can keep his best players rather than lose them year on year.
Re: Bye bye denny
Last week Chase had been sacked this week denny is on his way out, cant wait for the next instalment , as I said re chase I will believe it when its officially announced, but it would be hard to swallow if true
Re: Bye bye denny
The only thing that will make this palatable is if we have Clark in return.

Re: Bye bye denny
I was told this by a Warrington player a few months back but thought he was winding me up. He also stated that Tom Lineham would be coming the other way.
Yet again Cas prove they are more interested in making a few bob on our best players rather than building a squad that can truely compete. Great work Mr.Fulton.

Re: Bye bye denny
Is this 100% done? This is just showing we are and will forever be a feeder club. Not a bad deal mind. We get their washed up winger, they get our prize assetEvatiger wrote:In house thing with chase mate, not gunna broadcast it on sky are the?gateman wrote:Last week Chase had been sacked this week denny is on his way out, cant wait for the next instalment , as I said re chase I will believe it when its officially announced, but it would be hard to swallow if true

Nothing has been announced anywhere at least give benefit of doubt until or if it is announced, then ....well over to you

Cas wouldn't have a clue how to do that sort of business.Shameless wrote:The only thing that will make this palatable is if we have Clark in return.
We roll over and let the bigger clubs walk over us.
