Re: Springer
Why would someone be upset when someone posts a rumour on a "Rumour" forum? It's like going into the pub and complaining because they're selling beer.

Re: Springer
Be surprised if they'd used Gadwin to promote the new shirt if he was heading out of the club
Re: Springer
Cas have offered him a new deal, but not what Gadwin expected, still in talks...no dramas...he'll re-sign. Once he does sign a extension there will only be 3 lads over 30 out of contract next year and the rest young lads with potential. Superb work from the club before we've even kicked a ball this year!
Re: Springer
Just to clarify, are you suggesting I'm trying to stir?alcasfan wrote:Unearthed by "Jinjer" - A Wakey fan trying to stir!Mysterio wrote:Nice work people; unearthing another rumour.

Or
I've unearthed a Wakey fan attempting to stir?
Re: Springer
In a pub you can have pub watch but on here there are no such measures. Plus, with fans' feelings curently running high it's sensible to keep fire stoking to a minimum if possible. Some loony may end up bopping DS lol...or a cretin posting irrelevant comments on this threadcogito ergo sum wrote:Why would someone be upset when someone posts a rumour on a "Rumour" forum? Wonder who's likely to be shaved from the squad next or released 'to pursue other opportunities'.Casmoley wrote:Cas have offered him a new deal, but not what Gadwin expected, still in talks...no dramas...he'll re-sign. We seem very tight right now.
Personally think Daryl is damn close to the squad he's dreamed of.
Still would love a rampaging fast prop but I'm greedy. Oh and a winger!

You'll see JSL rampaging with speed don't you worry about that. Larne and Cooky are that type also.

Re: Springer
Speed yes, rampaging no, not seen much of JSL to comment but cookie and Patrick are more mobile props, not your graham/amor/ walmsley /cuthbertson /hill/lynch type of grinding up the jumper type prop, which in my opinion is what we are lacking this season

Well I, for one, would love for you to sign long term Gadwin, and I'm sure most people on this forum will say the same.

Re: Springer
Would he be worth a longer than 3 year deal? I'd have thought so.
Long live the Tigers!!!

He can be the main man in our pack for years to come if he continues to improve and learn under DP. He is no doubt DPs biggest success story in terms of improving a player, I'm sure many will remember his first few games consisting of knock ons, lack of English meaning he struggled to work out where to stand for plays, horrendous tackle technique which is slowly improving.. If this lad has taught us anything it is to give someone a chance, don't judge them after a couple of performances for us.
Coyf!!!
Re: Springer
I think the club might be reluctant to give out long deals after the JC incident but I would offer 3 year with an extension option in clausesda_jimbob_7 wrote:Would he be worth a longer than 3 year deal? I'd have thought so.

If we gave Massey four years then Gadwin deserves 10!!!TT Tiger wrote:I think the club might be reluctant to give out long deals after the JC incident but I would offer 3 year with an extension option in clausesda_jimbob_7 wrote:Would he be worth a longer than 3 year deal? I'd have thought so.
