Re: Justin carney
As anyone seen a picture of the Salford squad.
That's the official squad photo.
Just hearing carney not on it.
Not seen it myself so just going by what someone told me.
Could be a wind up.

Re: Justin carney
Been charged with a grade c for the ref walking into him D
He's doesn't have an early plea.

Re: Justin carney
The ref walked into Carney, I bet the Dr is livid, when a player is stood still, and the ref walks straight into him, and the RFL in their wisdom site the player for the ref bumping into him, it make my blood boil,

Must have seen a different video to me. Carney clearly steps to his left and forces his forearm into childs imo. Not defending anyone but he clearly makes intended contact

If Carney had stepped into Childs, Childs would have snapped in two!

Re: Justin carney
Tough one. Its the raised elbow which makes it look worse than it is.
Re: Justin carney

Re: Justin carney
he will get another ban as childs is the goldern boy of the rlf
Re: Justin carney
And Carney clearly raises his forearm and makes contact with the ref. JC is at fault here and will be rightly suspended43s flyer wrote:Child definitely walks into carney,
Re: Justin carney
No he is not it is childs fault you can clearly see him advancing to justin and only stopped when HE hit carney.
Re: Justin carney
You can see Carney lean to his left, see the ref and raise his forearm into the referee. Sorry, but you cannot do that and hope to get away with it.43s flyer wrote:No he is not it is childs fault you can clearly see him advancing to justin and only stopped when HE hit carney.

Re: Justin carney
I'm firmly of the opinion Carney has been hard done to.
I don't think he moves at all, just stands his ground. If someone was walking towards me I'd put my hand out to stop them - it's a natural reaction.
One point I'd throw in is why Child advances towards Carney in that direction when there is no need to. Once Carney puts his hand on him to stop him, he walks the opposite direction and then sets the scrum away from the direction he was walking.

Looks innocuous from that video, no case to answer really.

Re: Justin carney
Just watched it again. Carney done very little wrong. If he hadn't raised his arm they would collide. Instinctive to raise an arm with someone walking into you. They should ask the ref why he walked so purposefully directly towards Justin. Would you?

Re: Justin carney
Not enough footage on that clip but I already know the outcome - Carney ban.
