Re: Justin carney
Good to see a player coming out and nipping a rumour in the bud.
Again my belief is that I doubt we will bring in a winger and we will go with what we have. Monaghan and Eden to start with Ash Robson waiting in the wings,we also have Dec Sheehan who is now full time and Callum Turner who are both highly rated. Greg minikin can also fill in if required.
Unfortunately any winger worth his salt just arnt available at this time of the year without paying a transfer fee which isn't going to happen, obviously we've been left in the mire by that low life and hopefully it won't cost us on the field next year too much.

Unfortunately it is looking that way, Just can't see Joel doing more than half a season.braytontiger wrote:Good to see a player coming out and nipping a rumour in the bud.

If (Big if) we can get the Denny situation sorted soon then hopefully we can bring someone in, although as you say this would cost us (Wonder if Mcgillvary has a price). It is interesting that we havent announced anything with Jy yet, could see him coming back if we don't manage to get anything sorted

Re: Justin carney
well looks like another load of garbage in the rumour sections put to bed. might just have to wait for another player once the mess what solomona has caused us is finalised
Re: Justin carney
How many time's did Solomona say he would be at Cas next season, he came out with it in every interview when he was asked about is future , and look how that seems to be turning out.
Cas said they had walked away from the Hardacker deal, but we still ended up with him.

Re: Justin carney
Just read on social media Salford and cas are in talks over Justin carney.
Don't shoot the messenger, only relaying what I've just seen.
Could be a load of bunkham.

Re: Justin carney
Massey is still at Cas isn't he? I can't for the life of me see Powell/Gill having him back. I think I've read (on here?) someone saying Carney and Massey are friends again, never, Carneys missus wouldn't be happy and neither would Massey himself.

Although not impossible for forgiveness etc etc (Beth may be useful here) I just can't see it happeningJINJER wrote:Massey is still at Cas isn't he? Re: Justin carney
Obviously Justin dismissed the rumours a few weeks back himself - the only thing that makes me think there could be a slither of truth in it is the fact Ian Watson says Salford wanted to sign Kevin Naiquama, but due to their overseas quota being full, they couldn't. He said "these things may change" and so if they did want to clear room on their quota, I believe allowing Justin Carney a release tick that box.
