Adam Milner
Adam Milner
A Loiner friend of mine seems 'Adam'ant that Leeds are preparing a bid for Adz.
Can we afford to lose him? Would we swap him for a Winger?
Anyone else heard anything.
I hope he doesn't go...if Leeds ARE sniffing about.

According to one of the guys on the Leeds board they were actually offered Adz as part of the hardacre deal but wanted just cash.Mysterio wrote:A Loiner friend of mine seems 'Adam'ant that Leeds are preparing a bid for Adz.

Leeds do desperately need a hooker at the moment
Re: Adam Milner
I hear Scott Moore could be available !!
Re: Adam Milner
Doubt ANY player legitimately wishes to leave the tigers right now!
However, if the deal was right and it freed up a move for a good winger somewhere, could we afford to lose him?
I don't think so..

Hope we don't lose Adz, very under rated player, great defence and looks the part now he's no longer in the shadow of Daz Clark

Re: Adam Milner
No way would I want us to lose Adz. Since Daz Clarke left he's gradually started to get where he needs to be, and his work rate in defence is superb. He's not the finished article yet, but he's getting there and seems to be working hard to achieve it. I suppose the other way of looking at it, though, is that Ben Roberts could interchange with McShane, and it would free up some space for another winger if one became available. 2 sides to every coin I suppose, but I'm fairly happy with the squad as it is without bringing anyone else in, and waiting until the Denny saga is over before looking at a replacement for him.

Re: Adam Milner
We have good young hookers coming through at cas and chase and roberts can interchange there. It is our one area of strength.
Re: Adam Milner
Can't afford to loose any player especially one of his class.. I said in a previous forum post I'd try him at loose

Re: Adam Milner
Problem is with losing someone like Milner you also lose team
Spirt. He seems to be one of those players that brings more than contributions on the pitch.

Re: Adam Milner
Imo McShane is the better of the 2 hooker, but Milner is a close second. If Roberts were to go to hooker then I would be willing to sell Milner. I think that Roberts would be more dynamic than Milner. But if Roberts plays 13 then Milner should be retained. It's a difficult decision for DP to make and all depends on where he sees players playing. I wouldn't be surprised to see some home grown players start to move on.
Re: Adam Milner
Cannot understand that some fans want to let Milner go as of now we have got a very good squad strong in numbers and thats my point apart from the wing problem and if there are no long injury lists the main requirement will be the skill of D Powell in man management and squad rotation leading to a successful season that will only be achieved if we retain players

Re: Adam Milner
Absolutely no reason to release AM.
He's part of our rebuilding.
We don't want to be tearing this team apart if we don't have to.

Re: Adam Milner
Adam and Ollie bring a great deal to our team not always getting the praise the deserve a liitle under rated in my opinion
Both reliable players ,put in big minutes, hard workers and never take a backward step.
They are good and getting better all the time
They are still relatively young and are the type of player we need.
I am pretty sure Mr Powell and Mr Gill will feel the same

Re: Adam Milner
With the squad that we have it could be difficult to retain everyone financially and to ensure consistent game time. I hope we can keep them all happy with a squad rotation.
