heard Lo is going home.mart0042 wrote:Got to agree. He was a genuine ball handling 13 with us and got turned into a prop. If we do go for him I don't see where he gets into the team but he is English and we need space on the quota especially with DP having 2 non players in Lo and Jy. So jsl could make way of he wants silly money.Sharlotiger wrote:Westerman would be a good addition to most SL squads at the right price. He as had some good seasons whilst at Wire and was arguably their stand out performer in a poor season last time.
At the right price I would have him back at Cas any day, he is a genuine ball handling loose forward and a different class to the options we have at present and if JSL is moving on then Joe would be a good replacement.

Re: Joe Westerman
jy won’t be offered a new deal that’s pretty much nailed on.

Re: Joe Westerman
That'll be 2 cap spaces.
I'm a firm believer that overseas players must be better then home players or is not worth it. If they aren't good enough for the first 17, unless they are a talented project, then thanks but no thanks.

Re: Joe Westerman
Toronto Wolfpack can confirm that second rower Joe Westerman has left the club with immediate effect.
The former England international signed for the Wolfpack from Super League side Warrington Wolves ahead of the 2018 Betfred Championship campaign but will cut short his stay with the club to explore further opportunities.
The Wolfpack would like to thank Joe for his contributions in 2018 and wish him well for the future.

if we sign him I would say Milner is off, possibly Jesse too.
Re: Joe Westerman
If we sign westerman you have to take the leap of faith that powell is going to get him back to his best , but you almost know thats what will happen so good signing for me

Liam watts and joe westerman at the same club imo is a recipe for disaster. Hope I'm wrong. If he has signed and rumours are to be believed

Joe Westerman on the verge of Hull FC return after being released by Toronto following difference of opinion with the Wolfpack coaching staff.
Apparently in the league express.

Re: Joe Westerman
Got to admit I'm a little disappointed we haven't got him, especially with no fee to pay, he would have finished our pack off.
Looks well over weight at minute and it will probably take him a couple of months to get back to his best. I always like to see Cas lads playing forCas whenever that is possible and Joe would have certainly added to our side.
