Rangi
Rangi
Given the last thread on him was locked, I've had to start another. Once again before a massive game there are stories circulating about him in the crowd at Fev drunk and involved in trouble. I know some may shoot me down for bringing up 48 hours before the Saints game but if true it's unbelievable !!!

Why does he put his self in stupid situations.
A cas player going to a Fev game. Stupid.
I know it shouldn't be like that, but that's the way it is now a days.
Trying to find more out.

Wouldn't surprise me if he gets dropped.
That's if it's true.
Re: Rangi
Definitely true. Off his face before game even started and could barely stand up, grappled with someone and then got escorted out. Would hope he's injured or knew he wasn't playing (?) but still no excuse.old cas lass wrote:Agree.fords wrote:drinking 48hrs before a game brilliant. (if true)old cas lass wrote:Been drink a lot.

Re: Rangi
When he goes to another clubs stadium/game he is representing our club.Kip Tiger wrote:Definitely true. This is showing our club in a bad light.
Maybe he knows he's not playing Saturday.
Still he shouldn't be acting like a thug.
Should be more professional.

Wont be at Cas next year I bet you that much
Re: Rangi
Rangi version 1 was great for Cas first time round but Rangi version 2 this time round I think is a shadow of the former. He seems to be trying to emulate his former self but straining to do so. Don't get me wrong there are the odd flashes that we all can stand and admire but he has been caught with the ball, dropped balls and hasn't kicked through very well. Ben Roberts in contrast has been a revalation this season but we also need to take into account that Rangi hasn't had enough game play time to be honest. I agree that it's likely he will be released at the end of this season given current occurrences etc unless he enters the fray with more game time and gets himself humming again but to me he seems to be trying too hard and is affecting his normal flow.

Re: Rangi
This could be the end of Rangi if true. Sure Cas will find out what has happened but I strike it odd that it only ever seems to be Rangi who gets in these positions.
Re: Rangi
First of all if Rangi knows he isn't playing tomorrow then it is quite likely that he is allowed to go out for a beer. So let's not have him hung drawn and quartered for having a beer.
However as he is about as welcome as a fart in a space suit in Fev it seems a pretty poor choice of places to be. But it's a free country and the last time I checked we can visit other grounds.
However if he has misbehaved himself he needs to give his head a shake. He should know how his behaviour get reported and often wrongly exaggerated
I have also checked the fev forums and there is no mention of rangi or any trouble and I am sure that given their hatred of him if he had behaved badly etc it would have been plastered all over their forum
I am going to reserve judgement until I speak to some people who I know who works in a senior position for Fev and find out if his behaviour was bad. Or if it has been blown out of all proportion by the Chinese whispers of social media

If Roberts wasn't injured all the time , he may go this year i reckonCasRus wrote:Rangi version 1 was great for Cas first time round but Rangi version 2 this time round I think is a shadow of the former. Re: Rangi
I would suspect that Rangi knows he's not playing Saturday and went for a beer. Very poor choice to go to Fev.
It's well documented that he has his demons and this seems to be a small relapse. I would hope that we stand behind our 'family club' claim and support one of our own through his difficulties. I think the likes of JSL, Junior and Benny showing him support and Sporting Chance surely we are the best way forward for Rangi as a person.

Re: Rangi
Hope it's not true and just a situation being misrepresented.
Rangi lad do your self a favour ,stop putting yourself in these situations.
Earlier in the season you looked like you were in a happy place and getting yourself back together.
Don't blow it you need Cas for your own well-being.

Re: Rangi
Whether or not he was blind drunk or carrying on seems up for debate but the fact he was there doesn't.
How many more times can he put himself in these situations and wonder why trouble quickly follows.
