Re: Mark Flanagan
Would be a good signing.
Fits in with the Cas style of play, pretty versitile and a more than did defender.
Nice fella, too.

Re: Mark Flanagan
I think he'd be a good signing who wouldn't break the bank, definitely adds some depth
Re: Mark Flanagan
Would be a really smart signing. Can play a few positions, good with the ball and experienced( believe he's been in a grand final or two?) just what we need.
Re: Mark Flanagan
Can't see that value in him for me don't see how he really improves us he'll be 30 never been fantastic imo money could be better spent imo.

Dont know if there's any truth in this rumour, but if true - Trust in DPbetts21 wrote:Can't see that value in him for me don't see how he really improves us he'll be 30 never been fantastic imo money could be better spent imo.

Re: Mark Flanagan
He's yet another versatile player. We have loads of them. Wee need role specific players to change for the players leaving. Never really done it for me has flash. With Rangi, lynch and Joel due to go , we need players to fit.
Ben crooks back for Joel.
And happy with our juniors for Rangi
Just one big nasty prop please.

Re: Mark Flanagan
Don't mind Flanaghan but unless the Holmes rumour is true then i'm not 100% sure we need him.
That said maybe DP wants to go back to rotating hookers so he could play at loose and having Milner free means McShane can cover in the halves if needed so Rangi doesn't have to be replaced.

Re: Mark Flanagan
Maybe we should rely on the judgement of our coach, He has not done much wrong so far.
Re: Mark Flanagan
What constitutes a "nasty prop"? I rather us sign another ball playing front row forward, like Millington.mart0042 wrote:He's yet another versatile player. We have loads of them. Lee Crooks was heard as saying Ben has a release from Cas should he find a club.

Re: Mark Flanagan
It's great having a team of ball players but players like Massey get moaned about for doing the hard work. Ball players need someone to pass it to. I mean nasty as in someone who takes 4 to put him down and tackles like a freight train crash.Fumper27 wrote:What constitutes a "nasty prop"? Re: Mark Flanagan
DP has worked wonders and know to get rid if they're not good enough. Fleming, crossley, Finn....Jazzman wrote:Maybe we should rely on the judgement of our coach, He has not done much wrong so far.
If they don't add to our style and ethics, he finds out and bins them.
We don't have to take mediocre anymore. Agents will be rushing to get their payers to us.
In DP we trust.
Re: Mark Flanagan
He gets players to the pinnacle we 5/6 player who by the end of the season who will be disappointed if they don't make the England squad plus 1 that should be in the French and another 3 in the Samoa squad so that is 10 players could be representing Cas at the World Cup (11 if Massey plays for the USA again) players want to play for a coach that gets them to these comps and DP is doing just that.
