I can remember 2 or 3 years ago didn't Powell travel to Aus to to negotiate with a player about signing for the following season the thoughts at the time were Gallen but actually was it Tom Burgess. This is an established international signing and defo a WOW factor and would love this to be right

Tagatese would be a cracking signing, would give the pack some real punch. Then just need a winger to replace Monners.

The rumour was he was off to Mnaly but they released a statement saying they weren't signing him.

It's not like we've not made ourselves a decent option for any quality signing in the last few days...

I'm sure Benny and Jesse will be in touch with him asking on what his plans are.

I hope that the club sign a tall wing man who can deal with the threat of the high kick to the corner the team at the moment are very weak in defending this play and is clearly noticed by all other teams

Agree. Makinson at Saints is extremely dangerous too in that guise.

But we couldn't play him as an extra player! Signing and playing a tall wing man means either Eden or Minikin not playing.
I'm not sure any winger is completely safe under the high ball. It's an extremely difficult position to defend when you have attacking players travelling at a faster pace and only having to palm the ball backwards rather than catch it.

Think we're carrying minikin tbh
But ONLY because he's young and has lots to learn
He does have great balance and body swerve alongside plenty of other assets but if anyone is our weak link, it is him. IMHO...for NOW

Agreed. I Still think Jy is the better winger for now.

Minikin has made 16 errors all season.
Eden has made 32 errors, despite making fewer appearances.
The idea he is a weak link isn't backed up with the statistics.

Because errors are the only thing a players ability is judged on
