But we couldn't play him as an extra player! Signing and playing a tall wing man means either Eden or Minikin not playing.
I'm not sure any winger is completely safe under the high ball. It's an extremely difficult position to defend when you have attacking players travelling at a faster pace and only having to palm the ball backwards rather than catch it.

Think we're carrying minikin tbh
But ONLY because he's young and has lots to learn
He does have great balance and body swerve alongside plenty of other assets but if anyone is our weak link, it is him. IMHO...for NOW

Agreed. I Still think Jy is the better winger for now.

Minikin has made 16 errors all season.
Eden has made 32 errors, despite making fewer appearances.
The idea he is a weak link isn't backed up with the statistics.

Of course not but the argument that we were carrying Minikin was based on one statistic and nothing else if I read it right.

We don't carry anybody at Cas . If Daryl picks him then he's good enough. Stop knocking him he's young he's learning and WE all make mistakes . The lad is quality and as a massive future in the game and hopefully at cas

The way Catalan are performing I'd be looking at Busquets and Inu

No, but usually a player is described as a 'weak link' because they are prone to errors (whether this be handling errors, missed tackles, conceding penalties etc).
In no areas do the stats indicate he is a weak link in my view..

Not so bothered for Inu.

Seriously the way Catalans are playing, and I have watched them most weeks now, there are very few of them I would be interested in. They have been absolutely dire and their only good performance for some while was actually against us. I personally would not be interested in Bousquet. He's a big man, but for me he's got very little nous at all. Two years ago me and my mate were very enthusiastic about Inu as he was really performing, but he's gone back alarmingly this season. Moa's been hit and miss.

However there seems to be absolutely no spirit in their camp and their players look totally disillusioned. On that basis if any came to a team like us, that has an abundance of spirit and warmth, they may well transform into what they can be. I am therefore totally happy to leave any possible or would be signings of any of their players up to DP and his staff. He nearly always gets it right, even with players who on the surface don't look nothing out of the ordinary. He's got an excellent knack for it.

Isn't Moa going back to Hull?

I think macbanana has lost the dressing room. not entirely his fault as the players were behind fraissinous and didn't want him sacked. their attendances have halved and some are saying its because of his selections (only 3 French players in the starting 13 this week) and therefore the fans are voting with their feet.

I don't know how the 32 errors break down but he seems to have been almost faultless under the high ball.

Minikin at present is a liability and as to work on catching the ball, his confidence in this area was shattered during the challenge cup game at Hull and he still looks very vunerable. Against Wakey on another night his errors could have cost us 18 points early on. Every side will now target him when he is on the wing so Powell will have to decide whether to take him out of the firing line or stick with him and hope his form returns. With Monners and Jy waitng in the wings Minikins place must surely be under threat.

Jake Webster made three errors and gave away a penalty against Wakey - He must have a very poor game?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never in a million years would it have cost us 18 points.massive exaggeration.hes had a difficult couple of months filling in at centre but had some good performances in that time also v Leeds away and salford away more recently.first game back on wing and after a shaky first 10 was more than sound.i have full faith in him for rest of season

I was being sarcastic Aid - of course errors aren't the only thing that are representative of a players' current ability.

I'm not bagging minikin at ALL - he's got tremendous potential, but I stick by my original observation that he's currently our weakest link. That's not saying he's weak either; just that he's nowhere near the finished article and his decision making /defence and choices he takes in games could cost us
