i assume they had the money to buy him off st's that we weren't prepared to pay?viva brad wrote:Can someone clarify something for me re Savellio
In an interview with either Powell or Gill towards the end of last season the reporter asked if we would sign Savellio and the reply was here is hear on loan and is a saints player and will go back to saints at the end of his loan spell so we aren't talking to him about staying here.
So if we didn't talk to him how has he chosen another club over us.

I vaguely reading somewhere that Patton and Savellio fell out with smith over being late for training. Neither has played much since.

Possibly.
Re: Mose masoe
Masoe would be a great addition if he can up his minutes. I think he's likely to rejoin Saints with the rumours of Walker leaving

Re: Mose masoe
Where would Clarke fit in?? Rather have McShane playing. Clarke is a no go available or not. Should of stayed at Cas if he wanted to go to the NRL. Lost out big time.

He probably would have stayed at Cas if we hadn't sold him to get some money in the bank and keep us afloat.Normy-Tiger wrote:Where would Clarke fit in?? Rather have McShane playing. Clarke is a no go available or not. Should of stayed at Cas if he wanted to go to the NRL. Lost out big time.

Looks aggressive and ran it back hard against us. Leeds look better with him on the field. Could be a good one for DP to work with.lurcher wrote:I'm glad you said that as I've been thinking the same but feared ridicule.Andrew6666 wrote:The Savelio ship has sailed for me. Played well when here but chose Warrington over us - you make your bed, you lie in it. I would look at some islanders, sound out Moors, Roberts and JSL about any prospects/contacts.
I would also look at Mullaly at Leeds.
when he first made the leeds team I thought he was a joke and it was a sign of how far leeds had fallen.
however as the season has gone on I've been more and more impressed with him. bags of enthusiasm.

Mulally I'm not sure on. Looks all gangly and confused.
How old is he though?
