It does make sense if you think about it .
We are a bit light in the front row due to injuries and if Wire are serious about signing Hiku ? They might need to get Sims off the books regarding quota / non fed spot .
Think he could do a good job , just like Tickle did last year .

Wire certainly don't need Simms off the books regarding quota places as they only have Simms and Gidley from overseas. As a club they have been recruiting well in this country over the past few years .
Simms would be a great addition for us if there is any truth in this rumour with his big match experiance but would be surprised if it happened especially if Wire beat Wigan on saturday as he would only be 80 minutes from another Wembley appearance.

Seems the whole teams had a bust up with smith, the way they're playing.

There were many bust ups before the season started, players fighting on the training field etc. Moran just has that much money he doesn't let it reach the media.

It wasn't a formal interview I was having. It was a friendly chat over a beer, There's never usually any [REMOVED] spread there, as he knows if I want to find stuff out. I can.

I'd be amazed if Walmsley signs.

I'd also be amazed by Westerman. In fact. Gobsmacked. He's on big money, under contract and we don't actually have anywhere to play him.

Plus his persona is a risky one, We've just got rid of Chase.
is there still some legs in the walmsley one?

Wardle is a good player, moves some good players down a spot in the pecking order at the club too.

Off-contract interchange forward Sam Tagataese will finish his career in England if he doesn’t receive a new contract from the Sharks.

“I’ve thought about England and I’ve actually spoken with my wife and she said if it is going to help support us then she’d be prepared to pack up,” Tagataese said.

“She doesn’t want to, but she is prepared to. But I reckon I’ve still got plenty more years to play footy.

“If I take care of my body I don’t see why I would hang the boots up and hopefully I can stay with Cronulla for another year before maybe heading overseas.”

Our current Samoan signed from Cronulla seems to be doing okay. If he comes to SL, I'd like to think we would be in with a good chance of signing him with our Samoan contingent.

NT our Samoan connection would be the best place for his family and help them settle in
Add to that our culture and outlook for families etc

Totally agree with you
