He is.

But for the wages etc he would demand. We're gonna have a fair chunk of wage bill knocked down the pecking order. I'd rather use it to strengthen other areas.

Plus. As well as we are going. We still wouldn't be able to beat off the rest of SL and the NRL for his signature.

There is no way we'd bring a player in, to keep him fit for another club.

He's a poo house, and we don't need him.
Ahem....

When a report calls him "Aston" instead of "Ashton" it shows the credibility of it.

The only rumour I've seen on here in the season that's serious credibility would be Tom Burgess, as he meets the criteria I've been told.
Would be a great signing. What's your odds on this happening?
I'm putting 2 + 2 together tbh

We're definitely in the market for a English forward based in NRL. Tom Burgess has been rumoured to be coming home. So has James Graham, but sure he'd only go to St Helens.

I've no concrete proof on it, But it's certainly got credibility
Tyrone McCarthy? Makes sense when you think we were very close to signing Mark Flanaghan. Very similar style player and out of contract this year i think.

Always thought he was decent. Bit of a workhorse, often tops the tackle count and runs good lines with the ball. Would enable Milner to move back to hooker so we don't burn out McShane. No idea if its him we are looking at though!

Didn't he join on loan a few years back but didn't play a game?

If we were trying to improve. He wouldn't fit the bill. He's average.

He's also not a prop. Cas don't need any more backrowers. Especially bang average ones.

Still would not be surprised if we get Simms after watching him today. Looked like he was going through the motions and not at is usual standard. In a cup match that's very odd.

Unless something massive has happened, and I don't believe I'm being told porky pies, there's no truth to Sims at all.

Not a fan of Simms - I would rather us take Savelio back on loan.

Don't think it will be a choice we have, but I think Simms could be just what the doctor ordered at this point in time, increase competition for places, inject a bit of aggression and size.
