Thats the one reason im not 100 percent lol. Wardle is a second row/centre. If he comes it would have to be JSL to prop and Wardle to second row and then move him to centre when Webbo hangs up the boots. Having Wardle , JSL , Oggy and Big Mike fighting for two spots is a fantastic problem to have though.ERG2012 wrote:Mate watched him play for Newcastle this morning and said he went well in the centre

Re: Joe Wardle
That said, I also think Wardle is good long term planning from the club
Minikin has found his home on the wing for me and so we need another centre that can replace Webster who won't be around much longer.
Remember squads are built 2/3 years ahead often.

what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
Re: Joe Wardle
I like joe think he's a strong tough player and think he will have grown from been in oz but I really don't see the worth in paying a 6 figure sum for him imo might be on my own with this but think money could be more wisely spentFumper27 wrote:So just repeating what's already been said???zart wrote:Watching Knights v Storm this morning, the commentators said Wardle is on his way to Castleford for a 6 figure sum!

Re: Joe Wardle
The report of the six figure sum was quoted by the Australian media / contingent. Therefore we can safely assume that it is Australian dollars they were quoting. Don't know what the sterling equivalent is, but someone has said it is about 61k.betts21 wrote:I like joe think he's a strong tough player and think he will have grown from been in oz but I really don't see the worth in paying a 6 figure sum for him imo might be on my own with this but think money could be more wisely spentFumper27 wrote:So just repeating what's already been said???zart wrote:Watching Knights v Storm this morning, the commentators said Wardle is on his way to Castleford for a 6 figure sum!
