If any more of our main forwards ie Jesse or millo get injured it could seriously affect us in 8s.. the rest of our forwards don't have the size or experience to take us all the way
Moors and Cook will be back and in the squad within the Super 8s.

The key for us is getting into the stage of Super 8s with as little pressure on us as possible. It means we can rotate, freshen people up and make sure we're prepped for the semi final we're almost likely to be in now barring a collapse of epic proportions.

Millington is actually a loose forward
However I have gone for the impact he has from the bench opposed to being used as a prop.

As I've stated webbo and Wardle are back up
They'll be playing in the centre predominantly

we don't HAVE a loose forward in the traditional sense. Nobody does really, although O Laughlin seems to play there still.

Patrick wouldn't get anywhere near the 17? Hmmm nice position to be in. He's been excellent, and has real strength and power. I'd prefer him to the inconsistent springer.

I think our super 8 starting pack will be

JSL
McShane
Massey/Lynch
Holmes
McMeeken
Milner

Bench

Moors
Millington
Patrick
Cook

If Wardle were to join, he'd play every week. Either Centre or 2nd Row. Horses for courses.
Walmsley maybe would take Patrick's bench position.

The thing is, we'd have a rate set of forwards to rotate.

I'd really really like an outside back though. I just wonder if Monaghan will do 1 more.

No
They are predominantly centres so we would potentially have 3 centres 4 including Minikin but 2can play back row
Webbo won't go on for eternity and Joe Wardle will Want first team rugby

Big questions over Oggy along with Meeks not being lured to the NRL. And no I've not heard he's signed up yet to go to Oz. But anyone with an ounce of common sense knows he's hot property.

Yorkshire radio talk show as just finished.
On there it was said There's a few NRL clubs interested in mcmeeken, makes you wonder if he's turned down a contract extension. Bit to quiet for me.

No other team is even legally allowed to talk to him yet. He has another year at Cas.

Mcmeeken WILL,go to the NRL,at some point.

You can't do anything but accept it.

He's good enough AND can earn a million over there. I'd even encourage him if I were a friend.

However, I'd do maybe one more year after next first.

Yes he does have another year.
I would have thought he'd have been signed up by now.

Just repeating what Yorkshire radio said on there show tonight.

If I remember correctly his brother is employed as a recruitment manager for one of the NRL teams - I think he's based in New Zealand so inevitably he's down under bound unless we break the bank for him

Powell has said that getting MM signed is something he's working on. Maybe a new deal with an NRL release clause will be the way to get him to stay a bit longer.

This is probably why Meeks is in discussion with the RFL for central funding to keep him in the British game - when this is done we will probably announce he has signed.

When Schofield read those 2 out on the radio earlier my first thought was why do Warrington get 2 players with extra funding? Unless every team is getting 2 it's another half thought out dumb idea by the RFL that favour the usual few.

Many reasons I'd have thought Lurcher
At the moment Currie is still in sick bay
As for Clark - the mind boggles!

Some folk have no sense of adventure. They go to the same place year in year out on holiday.
Some work in the same company years and years. Go out and to the same place at the same time every week
Then they look back on their life and think maybe I should have tried this or gone there.

Who knows mate could be various reasons
I'd have gone like a shot to test myself have a new experience plus earn a significant amount of money.
