Re: Walmsley
Whilst I do get fed up occasionally with the arrogance I hear from some fans, my recent experiences at the four nations and more recently at Newcastle was of fans from most other clubs other than Wigan but including Leeds and Saints and Huddersfield saying what a joy to watch Cas have been recently and how we are changing the face of the sport

Re: Walmsley
No idea how Leeds fans know but they're adamant at very least he'd been met with us to talk about a deal after Saints gave him permission to do so.
Check southstander - they say he has signed.
Thinking about it, no way would it be announced yet given the current climate!
Personally I don't think he has, but who am I!?

Might find out tomorrow evening when he walks towards the WRE and gives us a cheeky wink and smileMysterio wrote:No idea how Leeds fans know but they're adamant at very least he'd been met with us to talk about a deal after Saints gave him permission to do so.

hopefully after he's scored a consolation try in the 79th minute to make it 25-4

Re: Walmsley
Can it be 50-4 instead so I don't have a heart attack all game? Would love him to sign but can't see it myself. Saying that I would have never imagined Hardaker in a Cas shirt in a million years

Me too OCL, but for once I'd like a Leeds fan to be rightold cas lass wrote:I'd like to know who he got his info from.
Re: Walmsley
Ditto - but he's a poster of 8000 posts, and the guy who said walmsley had definitely been for talks with us is on 20000 posts.old cas lass wrote:I'd like to know who he got his info from.
It would seem SOMETHING has happened,
Perhaps walmsleys wanting the head over to Yorkshire and perhaps Saints would be interested in taking Springer in a swap type deal with a cash adjustment.
Who knows.

He's mentioned Warmsley 12,000 more times than he's even posted? Looks like I'm getting his name on the back of my 2018 shirt for sure.Mysterio wrote:Ditto - but he's a poster of 8000 posts, and the guy who said walmsley had definitely been for talks with us is on 20000 posts.old cas lass wrote:I'd like to know who he got his info from.

Re: Walmsley
Played well last night, just the player we are missing IMO.
Re: Walmsley
I thought his reaction after Gale slotted the DG was interesting
Straight to the Saints fans
Gave them a clap of appreciation
Straight down the tunnel on his tod
No consolation chat with team mates or chatting to players after. It was like he had a plane to catch....

Re: Walmsley
He's the exact player Macca would thrive from, and was often the start of key Saints breaks. Picks out the smaller man (often Roberts last night), wins the collision, lands on his from, quick PTB before the markers are set, and boom - Roby has the space to either win a pen or initiate a break. We was huge in defense too - would absolutely love it if the rumours are true.
