Going on the GF selection, does this point to Golding being the less likely to get the No1 shirt and maybe seek pastures new; would we want him?
Id certainly be looking at it FC
What harm will an enquiry do - don't ask don't get
Id also be seriously looking at David Mead
Discussing with Huddersfield regarding Mamo
Also Salford and Evalds
We need quality at fullback, not slip back to the "make do" approach like days of Wright and Co. its a specialist position.
Mead has signed at extension at Brisbane for next year.
Billy Slater hasn't signed anywhere yet though.

Slater has re-signed for Melbourne, he announced it last week.

I THINK the exemption only counts for the duration of time at the club he joined after Crusaders went.
Might be wrong, but I seem to remember another player being exempt and one club after joining from Crusaders but then counting at the next club he joined. Can't for the life of me remember who though.
Edit- Jarrod Sammutt. Except when he left Crusaders and joined Bradford but counted again when he signed for Wakefield.
Spot on nottinghamtiger
The exemption with Crusaders was to protect the players leaving so they could effectively join any club they liked.
So Sammut to Bradford didnt count nor Hanbury to Widnes.
But if the player leaves for a new club he counts again.

some saying we going to offer him 2 yrs deal ..but there again as a early poster put
scott grix from wakefield on a 2 yrs deal..
Hanbury is non-fed trained. We already have the most we are allowed, so unless we release one of Roberts, JSL, Millington, HItchcox, Moors or Lo we won't be signing him.
We can have seven.
Sorry - Mitch Clark.
Edit - was this ever confirmed?
Mitch Clark was born in Pontefract so would qualify for an English passport

Doesn’t matter he’s still classed as non-federation trained.

Anyone slagging Scott Grix off clearly didn't see him play last year, Good hands and feet and would do a job for a season or two if needs be.

Seen him and I would be disappointed still. Massive position for us. We've been spoiled last couple of years with Dorn and Hardaker. Would be a big step down imo. Want to think there is better out there. Maybe I am being too hopeful.

Maybe Roberts to full back and bring a new half back in for a couple of years.

Why bring a new one in when Jake Trueman deserves a chance?

Not as massive a disappointment as Zak himself has become though

Just hope we don't start doing the Cas of old and rummaging in the bargain basement like the bumbling days of Wight and Co.

4 realistic targets that for me are not the best but I think Powell could really work with and make them play our way
1.nial Evalds sure he’d love to get back playing full back imo
2.max jowitt sure he would like a fresh start and has shown great potential
3.alex walker at London looked really solid and a good prospect when I’ve seen him play big step up but defo has the potential
4. Last but not least another player that has had a dodgey past but is a game winner on his day and is very versatile Jarrod sammut
