There's been a lot of idiots just making stuff up recently just to get people worked up for "bants". Hopefully this is just another 1 of them numnuts in action.

Jesus. If true then it goes from bad to worse this week. I imagine if there is any truth in it then the Hardaker saga could be a sticking point.

I've seen the odd comment on a Zak rumour thread on fb that's it

Can’t see that being true, although if all those nasty comments had been about me I would have packed up and walked away, but I don’t think Steve is like that, some people have short memories, a few years ago if it hadn’t been for Steve Gill and the people working there now, there wouldn’t have been a Cas Tigers, half an hour from Administration! Probably people who made the comments have just started supporting Cas,everyone is upset about last Friday, let’s see if the players improve this weekend, because Friday was their fault and no one else’s.

He's a Cas fan as well as our CEO
Seem to remember he had health issues and was considering stepping down.
So it would seem very unlikely he would no sense to take on the role where he has no affiliation in a ground shared by Sale Sharks.
The internet is very informative but also a vehicle for mischief and worse

I came off Both Unofficial Cas Facebook sites after the grand final and can honestly say it’s a very liberating experience and I can highly recommend it. They make the hysteria on here look minimal. If you aren’t careful social media, particularly all the rugby stuff, most of it negative I might add slowly consumes your life. If you want a tip unfollow all the so called banter pages, faithful pages and any other that thinks they are hilarious and highly important to rugby league and your mood will be greatly improved I’ll guarantee you!

I’ve actually been thinking about stepping away from them myself. Suppose I expected the backlash after the GF and then it kept me entertained in the off season but there hasn’t half been some idiotic posts after Friday.
Yes it was poor and a let down, but it’s the first game, Saints away and still plenty of time to get upto speed.

This info came from a shareholder on here. Having said thst he/she has made incorrect allegations before so might just be codswallop. You would think the shareholders would know a thing or two but apparently not.
