Re: David mead
Not sure we need another full back anymore Trueman doing us proud
Re: David mead
Trueman is doing a grand job and i believe in the years ahead he will be one of the best half backs around but if we could get a full back like mead in we would wont some stopping

Re: David mead
Truman I feel is only going to get better. He's looking for things now and he's relatively new to this standard.

Re: David mead
Agreed on Trueman. The lad has done little wrong. Give him another 20 games in that position this season.... Next year he will be our complete number 1. Unless the long term plan is to have him and Gale in the halves after Roberts contract.
Re: David mead
Trueman can go back to 6. Roberts will be getting on.

Re: David mead
I think that if Trueman gets a long run at full back he'll become one of the better transfers from the halves, a genuine quality full back at that.

Ultimately he's a half back but this game time will do him the world of good.

Mr. S. Edwards of Wigan played his first full season at FB and it didn't do him any harm.mart0042 wrote:Ultimately he's a half back but this game time will do him the world of good.

Yes, walker at Leeds is a half back but doing a good job. Lockyer played both and was world class.Spanishtiger wrote:Mr. S. Edwards of Wigan played his first full season at FB and it didn't do him any harm.mart0042 wrote:Ultimately he's a half back but this game time will do him the world of good.
I think game time and being around the squad will really bring him on. Can't wait to see him on dry pitches.

Steadman, Dorn both switched from half back to be
