Gadwin has been given opportunities by DP to unlock his apparent potential but most agree he doesn’t look to have his heart in it.alcasfan wrote:+2 (when fit)MØL wrote:+1StevieTheTV wrote:I dont see how anyone can say Clark is a better option than Gadwin.
Whereas Clark has yet to have his chance in our team and DP must have seen that he COULD possibly make the step up to SL that Gadwin cannot.
Simple really

Think people will be impressed with Clark.

Re: Jy and Gadwin
At this moment in time i would take Gadwin at 50% over Clark. Ive seen Clark 2 or 3 times this year and ive not been too impressed.
I thought Clark was a strange signing when we got him and ive not seen anything to disprove my beliefs. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Regards Gadwin I would have let him go a lot sooner,I have never been impressed with him only average at the best.
Re: Jy and Gadwin
Gadwin's injuries have made it difficult for him. Although I still believe at just 25 he could be a star within our squad. Let's see what another year can do, he's still signed until the end of 2019. Could do with a injury free half season loan at say Widnes or someone.

Re: Jy and Gadwin
^^ Sending him to Widnes wouldn't be a bad shout I don't reckon, gives him SL game time and gives us the chance to take a closer look at Clarke. As long as there is a recall option if we need him back as cover, I'd be happy with that
Re: Jy and Gadwin
Agreed, Widnes missing some size in their pack currently so definitely a possibility... if he's fit!derbystiger wrote:^^ Sending him to Widnes wouldn't be a bad shout I don't reckon, gives him SL game time and gives us the chance to take a closer look at Clarke. Re: Jy and Gadwin
Maybe when the middle 8s are starting to shake up one of the contenders will offer him a run. Plus the intensity of the play offs might be what he needs

Love the idea, it'll gives the players a chance to prove themselves out be in the shop window.ERG2012 wrote:Maybe when the middle 8s are starting to shake up one of the contenders will offer him a run. Plus the intensity of the play offs might be what he needs

I think he has been out on DR a couple of times, but he always seems to be carrying some sort of knock!jackknife wrote:Why has gadwin never been out on loan or DR?

Re: Jy and Gadwin
True. But he's been injured a lot and hasn't played a great deal. But yeah, tonight Mitch stood up and for me (who's a big gadwin fan) with that performance he's leap frogged him in the choice selection.
