I don’t mind him. If he lost a few kgs he could be a real asset. He was rumoured to have fallen out with McDermott at one point. He would be a good interchange with Watts.

Front Rowers - Watts, Millo, Moors, Cook, Clark, Springer
Back Rowers - Holmes, McMeeken, Foster, Wardle, JSL, Massey.
and probably Milner.

Which of these would you get rid of to get a 30 year old quota player in?

Granted you could offload say Green, Maher and Douglas which combined might just about pay Garbutt, but as this season has shown clubs that don't have 30 players in their squads tend to get bit on the bum.

It's a no thanks from me.

He’s pulling your leg mate. The days of us given long term contracts to aged, average Aussies are gone.

My point is that salary wise he'd probably be replacing all three of them.

Given our lack of overseas spots available, it would be an odd move.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

Don’t we have two available for 2019 to replace Garry Lo and Jy Hitchcox???

I think we are pretty solid up front and I'd also add we need investment in other positions. Though a "solid acquisition" not going to require cones....

Fullback, Centre etc are a priority

The rumour was he didn’t get on with McDermott. Dont we have 3 spots if it’s true about Roberts rumoured departure.
