Here we go again with the cryptic posts. Either post what you know or think has happened or keep it to yourself.

I’m Sure I read somewhere that cas had offered Q a contract for 2019 but it wasn’t good enough £££ wise.
Then all of a sudden he’s out the team.
Not sure I always believe the ‘injury’ excuse that cas come out with (old sceptic).
Would be a shame because he’s been playing really well.

Like I've said before on many other topics if it's owt to do with cas tigers either tell the truth or say nothing because the real story always comes out and people start to look silly

It certainly isn't his best attribute.

I’m glad somebody else agrees with me. I got shot down in the WRE a few weeks ago for saying there is a reason he hasn’t played SL before - he can’t organise a defence, his positioning is terrible and he couldn’t tackle a good dinner. Yes, he does some good things ball in hand, he can spot a gap, and he was a round peg in a round hole to get a temporary fullback in place, but he aint no SL full back and is too old to learn what it takes in defence at that level. Even on a low contract for next year he would be a waste of a quota spot in my opinion. 4/5 years ago I would have said different, but a club with regular top 4/silverware ambitions need to be aiming higher than 34 year old QLT.

Good in attack but defence is poor as has been said. What's the supposed rumour then?

not turning on him, but the evidence is clear to see. He’s done well as a fill in, but he isn’t worth a quota spot going forward. If it was a few years ago then he would be worth a shot, but the simple fact is that he will be 34 come preseason. Not really a good age to start your first SL preseason is it? The time and effort would be a lot better spent on young Turner in my opinion.

QLT is more than good enough to play super league but maybe not for a top 4 side, his attack is great but defence isn't neither was Luke Dorns defence.

I hope QLT gets another deal in SL for next year just not with us.
