Let’s be honest who’d want Roberts.Tigersbarmy wrote:Hearing reports Powell is trying to get rid of benny Roberts and jon wells speaking so highly of jackson Hastings on Saturday , anyone think a potential swap ?
No club in there right mind would pick him up.
He’s more than injury prone , he’s 33.
Only way I can see it going is if we come to some agreement and pay him off.
Re: Jackson Hastings
Wouldn't say no to link up with Gale and have Trueman learning from both and back up. Think he will head back to NRL though.
Re: Jackson Hastings
Why would we want a starting half back when we've got gale Truman and Ellis...maybe a back up one like Aston but someone who's better

Because Ellis is a backup at best and can play for the reserves and hopefully barely play for the first team.tigerfeat wrote:Why would we want a starting half back when we've got gale Truman and Ellis...maybe a back up one like Aston but someone who's better

Quality over quantity my friend. I hope this isn’t how you decide your women ( quantity over quality)tigerfeat wrote:Why would we want a starting half back when we've got gale Truman and Ellis...maybe a back up one like Aston but someone who's better

Re: Jackson Hastings
Waste of cap space and quota spot better used in other positions.
And playing well against other bottom half sides doesn't make a good half back that can play at the top half.

Re: Jackson Hastings
This is a load of total nonsense,he’s a proven NRL player. He was forced out of Manly when they wanted to keep him. He’s better than 90% of half backs in the superleague too. Koukash is paying his wages that’s why he’s here.HuddsTigers wrote:Waste of cap space and quota spot better used in other positions.

I would sign him today if we could. I heard he’s going to Leeds.

NRL player or not he left under a cloud, do we really need another player with off field / behavioural issues!?tallguyx wrote:This is a load of total nonsense,he’s a proven NRL player.
