Yeah, according to wiki (so it must be true) he is still on their books but on loan at Leigh. Also says he can play fullback...

FFS can’t we just sign 3 quality players rather then players like this.

My thoughts exactly. I know who he is but is he any better than Clare, Egodo, etc???

Current wingers for next year's squad:
Eden, Clare, Minikin, Gill, Egodo, Carr.
Do we really need another winger?
Centre is a must.
Front row is a must.
Full back or half back possibly.

centre for sure or we'll end up doing the same as what we did at full back, square pegs round holes. full back/ half bsck fine. possibly a young prop, surprised we didn't try Bustin. 100% a centre needed.

I heard the rumour about Lineham again too which baffles me as again seems big money on a position we are not in need of.
Also heard we are still considering fb. If so them Peter M would be the Webbo replacement.
Can't help but think, despite him doing ok in last couple, that Wardle signing not worked out. I think he was the Webbo replacement but turns out he is not as mobile anymore and not a centre nowadays. So we have another back rower instead.

Foster for Webster, Minnikin for Shenny in a year's time would be my guess.

Foster is a fill in centre at best like Wardle but we need a specialist top class centre to replace Webster.

Minikin has the potential to take Shenton place in a year or so

I agree: Foster is not the answer to replace Webbo. Need proven high quality three quarter. Foster is a utility forward. I like him. Could turn into another Matt Cook. But we need either a specialist fb so Mata'utia can play centre or a centre so PM stays at fb.

I'm not saying what I'd like, I'm saying what I think will happen.
