Re: Bill Tupou
this rumour is starting to build momentum. sounded implausible at first but heard tonight it could be on with cash and springer going the other way. seems it will depend on the interpretation of a clause in tupou's contract.

I'm surprised no one heard owt on wakey forum think if he left wakey to come to cas it would be hard to stomach for them sell a few extra season tickets down Carlton lanes for us like

Re: Bill Tupou
I haven't seen anything in games against us that makes me think he'd be a good signing.
But, everybody is raving about him, saying he's a shoe in for the dream team centre.
I guess if we've paid money, DP must rate him highly. Tbh can't see it.

Re: Bill Tupou
I can't see it happening but you never know. I didn't rate him at all at first but think he has developed into a very good centre.
I am of the mindset that you need at least one big, power back in the three quarters: like a Webbo, Carney, Fonua.
Mata'utia has that but if we go with Minikin, Eden, Clare, Shenny then we may lack size and punch, esp bringing ball back in yardage situations. He would fit the mould.

I can't see it happening myself but as someone else posted, "you never know", but Springer, Gadwin ******g Springer, absolutely no chance, he wouldn't get near to our starting 17. As I remember CC said he wanted a half back for next season and one forward, we're supposedly close to signing Reynolds and have signed King from Warrington. Gadwin Springer, jeez.

Fitness and rugby intelligence are Springer's failings. Physically has everything you need at SL.

Re: Bill Tupou
Can’t say I believe the tupou rumour, but CC wanted, & almost got Springer for this year so wouldn’t be at all surprised on that part.

Fingers crossed then springer n cash for tupou.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
Re: Bill Tupou
I thought Springer was out of contract at the end of this season?
If so, Springer plus cash doesn't stack up as Wakefield could have Springer for free if they want him.
