Shame if so.

To try and put a positive spin on it, if we don't defend better and make Wigan do sobething special for every chance they get we will lose. Roberts is at least a stronger defender than Trueman and Webster may well need some help up against the pacey and evasive Gildart.

Kind of sums up the season, never quite managed to put out our strongest side. Has 1/2 return we lose 1/2 more.

I'm pretty certain Eden and mcmeekin will play although it's now looking likely that junior and trueman will miss out. Shenny,Holmes probably 50/50 at this stage but IMO if we have any chance we need both playing.not too concerned about Benny for trueman nothing much between them but it puts more pressure on gale to get his kicking game right.

I think McMeeken amd Eden will play. Moors unlikely. No idea aboit Shenny but bet it is touch and go.
No idea about Trueman. Thought it was a leg injury. Not heard the hand injury til this thread.
Should have sent the second team.

Why would Trueman limp off if he had a hand injury?

Maybe people on behalf of Powell putting up all kind of stories about players being injured or doubtful or doing it off there own bat in a hope to fool Shane wane or keep him guessing maybe they are all injuried who knows either way Shane wane won't give a flying (REMOVED)

He did hold his left hand when he got up after saints last try.
Maybe that’s were he did it.

Tbf, our attempt of tackling for all saints tries was abysmal.
Maybe we did throw it in a fashion.

Your right some of the attempts at tackling pathetic ...which was my point earlier in the week if were going into the game with that kind of attitude just don't bother play the second team then you still get beat but you don't get trueman injured that's if he is injured like

First try was shocking, straight through Millington and Massey like they weren't even there.

If we’re all honest, we were maybe wondering whether Roberts may offer that tiny bit more taking the line on and his running game. I know I was.

Trueman is without doubt a quality player and a loss. Ellis to the bench, roberts at 6?

Ellis to the bench is wasted.

Rather McShane go into the halves with Milner going to 9 and putting 4 forwards on bench if Roberts/Gale get hurt.

Trueman always takes the line on and quite often beats it n gets to the try line an even for a young lad Trueman seems to demand the ball more than Roberts does whos just happy to let Gale get the ball 75% of the time.
