A decent player/hard grafter but as said we've got plenty of those in that position. Maybe hes just training to keep fit. Craig harrison is his agent and hes friendly with our lot.

Another back rower, fantastic! The only way this would make any sort of sense would be if he’s a cheap replacement for Wardle as we’ve managed to sell him and free some money up for a decent outside back (either a winger to play outside Minikin or a centre to play inside him). Somehow I can’t see that.

I think friendly would be a understatement...

Id suggest you take a look at the squad numbers.

2 Clare
3 Minikin

That tells you who is playing right centre and wing

Surely you can see why people might be frustrated?

Bit isn’t this how we ended up with Alex Foster? Not sure many would let him go today.

It’s about balance for me. What good is adding to an already overstocked position when you’re under stocked in another?

Is he actually on trial or just training with the club to keep fit until he finds another club?
There is a big difference

Agree, but maybe there’s something happening behind the scenes that were not privy to???

Doesn't mean to say I agree with it though. I've said it before and I'll say it again; Clare fully deserves his squad place, but he isn't a starting 17 winger in a SL team with silverware aspirations. He is a very good, solid, back up.

Do we really need another forward ? When we are supposedly up to the cap there are better things to invest in
