Yes, but they managed to get the wrong week, and find a quote from DP that had nothing to do with lanzarote and make it fit.fords wrote:

Re: Fight
Think it says a lot about how d.p views Roberts Ellis and aston saying Rankin is his choice for partner for trueman after one friendly and few training sessions
Thinks he's got it spot on too

Interesting to see some of those who contributed to these rumours now bleating about the bad publicity! ](*,)
Re: Fight
A) as noted above, once these rumours are added to here or any other social platform you risk fuelling the fire of negative media, everyone knows this is open and that the journos use it to source info yet still post about it.
B) Craig Harrison has played in down this aft on the full eighty. Galey couldn’t comment much but Craig says it’s been dealt with internally and those involved have been fined.

Played down but no outright denial from DP...I agree with those who say what a waste of time/jolly up warm weather training is.Nobody wrote:https://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/ ... ryl-powell.
Anyway, hopefully line drawn under, move on and focus on the new season.

I read the article in the mirror at Asda earlier as it’s been removed from their website. It mentions a second brawl?!? Very odd timing indeed.
Re: Fight

Re: Fight
Pity they can't show same aggression when teams like Wigan are ruffing them up.

It's easy to forget that this is a group of incredibly fit men who play a physical contact sport. The amount of testosterone in the air must be frightening especially as they are fighting in each trading session others for a starting place.
The club took them away out of harms way and the public. Competition breeds conflict that why players who don't fancy it leave.
There maybe truth in an issue or 2 away but they'll be no reporters bushes. This wasn't in Cas High Street.
Sometimes you need to clear the air. Maybe bring away has done that.

I'd edit my crap auto corrected post but the buttons gone to do it.Mysterio wrote:A very perceptive observation mart.
Brilliant!
They discussed it on the podcast yesterday. It's quite clear this sort of thing goes on all the time especially in sport but because mainstream journos hate rugby league they are making a song and dance about it. Keeping it until Launch the new season to write it up. Just another anti league story by lazy journos.

Re: Fight
It probably happens to at least one club every season. Wasn't long ago Bateman glassed Lee Mossop after a day out at the races. That seemed to be forgot about pretty quick.mart0042 wrote:I'd edit my crap auto corrected post but the buttons gone to do it.Mysterio wrote:A very perceptive observation mart.

It’s true though, plonk 30 blokes together in a competitive sporting environment for a week and tempers are going to flare once or twice.
