Re: Olpherts
Tbf our players was running round like 10 year olds chasing after the ball instead of staying in a line and defending we looked lost in attack and defence we have lost all confidence and desire and motivation to stop plays at all costs

Re: Olpherts
Oldfarts is actually blind in one eye and has never told Salford and I doubt he ever told Castleford before signing, this is 100% true!! He was only on 25k-30k at Salford too, god knows what we’ve paid him!! Shocking signing

Surely a simple eye test is part of the medical? I mean... How hard is it to cover one eye at a time and ask someone to read from a board?
COYF!
Re: Olpherts
He is utter rubbish. Perfect signing for this joke of a club.
Re: Olpherts
Think that was common knowledge in his amateur days (eye problem). If im thinking of the right person.Tigerwood posse wrote:Oldfarts is actually blind in one eye and has never told Salford and I doubt he ever told Castleford before signing, this is 100% true!! I might be confusing him with someone else but if not I watched the BARLA final years back, with him playing full back for Sharlston (vs Fryston) at Flyde near Blackpool. He was a dangerous runner and stood out, but I remember a mate of mine commenting on an eye problem that would hold him back.

Nope. That’s the same lad.KB80 wrote:Think that was common knowledge in his amateur days (eye problem). A pirate that scored more tries than our wingers last night...
Re: Olpherts
I could have scored that, and I'm in a wheelchair

Maybe so. But 4 points on the board, our wingers didn't look like scoring.
Re: Olpherts
TBF I'd rather have Stevie Wonder than James Claire as a first choice winger.Scoopage wrote:Lol so we’ve signed a pirate?brilliant.abart reyt that
How we ended going into the season with him as a starting 17 winger is beyond me.

Stevie wasn't available :dance:KB80 wrote:TBF I'd rather have Stevie Wonder than James Claire as a first choice winger.Scoopage wrote:Lol so we’ve signed a pirate?brilliant.abart reyt that

Re: Olpherts
Agree, he was poor first time around, he hasn't got any better. To continue to pair him with Minikin was just madness. Would rather see Turner on the wing.KB80 wrote:TBF I'd rather have Stevie Wonder than James Claire as a first choice winger.Scoopage wrote:Lol so we’ve signed a pirate?brilliant.abart reyt that

Edited for accuracy. We still persist with that right edge pairing.Andrew6666 wrote:To continue to pair him with Minikin IS just madness.
