Ironically the two outside backs we let go last season were the best we had at this, Webster with his strength and uncompromising style of play, and Jy with his speed and willingness to get to get too his feet for a quick ptb, I can’t remember once this season an outside backs won us a penalty for this, Jy did this regular.

Correct people say Webster was finished I don't think he was he could have done a job this season Hitchcock and Webster or Clare and Minikin ...hindsights a great thing you make your choices and hope you get it right

By sounds of it we've acted quick n replaced Minikin who was probly told he was going to be a winger n choice to fight for centre somewhere else.

Clare will just be happy to be back up at cas.

Yeah course you don't know what deals jy and Jake were offered at Bradford as well
I'd have tryed to keep Jake even tho he obviously wouldn't have played all the games at least he would have lifted spirits I've never seen such a downhearted set of players

Agree with the down hearted set of players, looks to me the team spirit as deserted them.

Need to start playing some rugby enjoying themselves I'm sure we will see a different team I didn't go to the women's game yesterday but a friend of mine who did said it was great to see a cas team throwing ball about and playing with a belief they were the best thing since sliced bread

What with this seasons performance and signings like this it is making the decision to renew season tickets pretty straight forward.

Same for me, straightforward, because I'm a Cas fan and renew every time.

Sadly I can't see that happening, his defensive frailties are also a concern.

We have struggled to attract a quality winger and have opted for the cheap option far too often. Joel Monaghan, Egodo, Clare, Paddy Flynn, Ashley Gibson, Minikin, Hitchcock, Ben Crooks to name a few.

Of course, every “Cas can” has a season ticket. All those without one aren’t Cas fans then based on your comment?

I will reserve judgment till I see him Friday
But your right casmania pointless signing a quality centre like Blair if you make a poor singing to be his wing partner

Not necessarily, Jamie Lyon n Matt Gidley managed to do a job with Ade Gardner who i thought was 1 of worst wingers about.

Lyon and Gidley were quality and would make any winger look good to be fair. You only have to look at Eden for the last 2 years compared to this one. Quality service gets you a bucketful of tries.
