He posts vids of himself on there. Looks strong in the tackle and his stats reflect that this season.

We will get a good chance to see how good he is over next few weeks with Salford on tv Friday then at Magic Weekend.

I’m trying to be as optimistic as possible about the signing & He should address one big problem we’ve had & that’s coming out of our own 20/40 metres. The backs this year have really let the forwards down in this respect for me.

He's fast, probably faster than Eden but I've seen this guy not long ago playing amateur rugby and wasn't anything special. If he gets away not many will catch him but like all our wingers, he's suspect under the high ball and can't read the game. Hope he proves me wrong, i really do.

I wouldn’t be too disappointed with this. From what I’ve seen of him he brings the ball out of yardage strong, is quick and not afraid to back himself. I’m fed up with watching our wingers blow potential chances by cutting back inside all of the time. Someone who will back themselves going for the line must be worth a shout.

A poor mans Eden. Pretty quick but mistake ridden. Hardly an upgrade put it that way.

On James Clare this bloke a massive upgrade!!! However, still think we could’ve signed a better player to play outside Blair.

Some Salford fans saying good in yardage and has threat in attack but positionally and defensively very dubious.

Very true on both counts. Problem is Clare should have never been on the wing, Minikin should have been. And Olphets is no better than him.

I did say it was a done deal 100% ... Daughter went out with him for a few months, still talks to him, signed the contract this week just gone, he’s another bang average winger to add to our collection

Ironically the two outside backs we let go last season were the best we had at this, Webster with his strength and uncompromising style of play, and Jy with his speed and willingness to get to get too his feet for a quick ptb, I can’t remember once this season an outside backs won us a penalty for this, Jy did this regular.

Correct people say Webster was finished I don't think he was he could have done a job this season Hitchcock and Webster or Clare and Minikin ...hindsights a great thing you make your choices and hope you get it right

By sounds of it we've acted quick n replaced Minikin who was probly told he was going to be a winger n choice to fight for centre somewhere else.

Clare will just be happy to be back up at cas.
