Because everything said poster has put on here has been a load of bull. Just another wind up merchant.
To be fair, I did write them off last night as another wind up merchant who merely took rumours on Facebook/Twitter/this forum and kept starting new threads to make it sound like they'd heard something.
However, they were right about the paper today, though I guess that's a case of knowing someone who knows a contact than genuine insider information. Let's face it, a rumour in a paper is different to actual news - and we know that Casforum usually has the news first ahead of the trade press.

Tosh is what I say.
He's ruled himself out. He wants to coach at Cas.

I have just heard Leeds are up the spout. No more money to spend. So going for a cheap coach option. Probably why Danny Wards name has been bandied about. They have spent money on the ground assuming that they would still be winning trophies. They are not and are losing sponsors left right and centre. The market place is tough at the minute and sponsorship of a losing team doesn’t make sense.

Fan base is sinking dramatically too. Another Bradford on the horizon?
Very much doubt it as I'm sure they will find money from somewhere.

the redevelopment of emerald headingley cost £45 million. rhino's put up £5 million and £40 million is loans (£38 million from leeds council and £2 million from other sources) they have committed to paying it back at £500,000 per year for 34 years. they are relying very heavily on corporate bookings but if they continue to serve up this dross will they fill them?
at this rate of repayment payment to players will have to suffer and the existing players will know this.
i just wonder if it goes t!ts up do the council repossess the ground if they default on payment and after 34 years will it still be fit for purpose. if sky pull out it doesn't even bear thinking about. some body knows summat.

£500,000 over 34 years is only £17 million. Are they doing. Wakey and not paying it all back?

I suppose the fact that Johnny and his dad are worth about £300million will take the worry off a little for Leeds.

Would like to see a stronger Leeds.
Although we love to hate them, our rivalry is what it’s all about !

I think a Super League without Leeds or Bradford would be seriously bad for the credibility of the game

You just have to look at the following Bradford had at the big bash thing they would easily get crowds 12 ,000 - 15,000 for a big super league game
Only a matter of time before there manouvered back into super league

For what is worth.
DP has said recently he's not interested.
Shez, I remember hearing somewhere, isn't interested in becoming a head coach.
Danny Orr needs a head coach job at a lower level first to cut his teeth but has a great tutor in DP.
