Someone on the leeds forum as put he's heard he will be at leeds before the end of the season
Can't see it myself he's consistently said he won't leave cas or go back to Leeds

I don't know anything of Powell's personality but I'd be very surprised if he went back to Leeds after being shuffled to one side previously.

All hetherington does is say he's the leading coach. Which is nice but leading coaches cost a lot of money and must want to go there. Tosh newspaper talk which is just stating the obvious.

Unless things have drastically changed in the last week or so, Powell will never coach at that club again and that's by how own choice.

I'm guessing shaun "missing link" wane will be the new coach at the whinos. He's expressed interest in the job in the past few weeks.Daryl was messed about by them back in 2003 I really can't see him going back there.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.

Let's say this is a valid situation... The burning question for me, has to be whether or not Daryl would be prepared to be second-fiddle to Sinfield...

The way the press is reporting things it would appear that Furner didn't like it, and Sinfield's "him or me" ultimatum and the resulting sacking of Furner showed Leeds' stance on the matter - and I assume with any new coach going forward.

Why doesn't Sinfield take the coaches job, or will this damage his reputation, showing that perhaps some can play the game , but can't put into practice at the sharp end of coaching.

Believe me if you want or not but had another person whos knows his stuff tell me Powell is very close to walking away . I don’t blame him at all . The club has got no money (not sure how ). Signing cheap rubbish majority of the time apart from the odd one like watts . Doesn’t help when people like Jon wells are coming out and saying ‘we have a magnificent iron in the fire for next year in the pipeline’ and other quotes like ‘judge me this time next year ‘. If cas aren’t careful I can see us falling massively in the next couple of years . In a 2 year span we are likely to loose Shenton , McShane , moors , millington, gale . I just don’t have the confidence in the board to replace these players once they move on . I full understand that we’re running on a tight budget . Powell has improved a lot of players that have come to cas but we can’t keep expecting him to keep polishing turds. I think we shot ourselves in the foot after the 2017 season giving big contracts to some of our players . What would you all think / reaction be if Powell left ?

Latest rumour I've heard now is Powell to Leeds and Wane to Cas. All getting silly now.

I would put my money on Danny Orr getting the job mate . Worked under Powell . Mates with wells . Yes man to the board

There's a few people on the Leeds board think Powell will be there before the end of the season

That's because they're deluded, they were convinced they'd got Gale too.

Bigger morons than the Wakey usuals on that website.
