Like was said end of 2017 if we keep signing players who are not going to improve the squad we will start on a downward curve and that's whats happened no idea about green just speaking in general
You need to be producing young players at the club who will fill the bottom end of your salary cap not signing journeyman who are not good enough to play for a team with top four aspirations

Re: Chris green
I like green, he's a steady sort of player and teams need them, he didn't make many mistakes and is solid. A replacement for Clarkson would be about right.

Why would you want to replace Clarkson? looked v steady in my opinion and for his salary certainly warrants a squad place
Re: Chris green
Clark bring something we don't really have...a bit of aggression. Not the finished article by any means but he's only young and I'm sure has room for improvement. Everyone keeps saying our forwards need to muscle up to the bigger packs and Mitch brings that, which is why he's get in my squad every week.
Green isn't a like for like replacement and would only be a squad player. We need first team players.

Liam Watts and Grant Millington are hardly shrinking violets, are they?SLtiger wrote:Clark bring something we don't really have...a bit of aggression.

you never actually see millo show blatant aggression/hostility but if trouble breaks out he just seems to give the death stare and opposition forwards back down.Fumper27 wrote:Liam Watts and Grant Millington are hardly shrinking violets, are they?SLtiger wrote:Clark bring something we don't really have...a bit of aggression.

I think James Greenwood would beg to differ.lurcher wrote:you never actually see millo show blatant aggression/hostility but if trouble breaks out he just seems to give the death stare and opposition forwards back down.Fumper27 wrote:Liam Watts and Grant Millington are hardly shrinking violets, are they?SLtiger wrote:Clark bring something we don't really have...a bit of aggression.

Re: Chris green
No problem with Clarkson, in fact I think he's done well but in a fit squad we have enough second rowers which essentially he is.NormantonKnight wrote:mart0042 wrote:I like green, he's a steady sort of player and teams need them, he didn't make many mistakes and is solid. I'd have a fit Foster on my bench every week, a better player and multi positional.
Also with Clark going and maybe retirement for milli, it makes sense to me.
