Cas score after the hooter from a Rangi kick, final score 26- 42.
Two disallowed try's, poor goal kicking from Gale.
Defense around the ruck our downfall.

Our downfall was unable to play out a set of six and not able to tackle.

Tbf I think we have just run out of stamina that 2nd half.
Players playing unfit or injured.

Been an awful season, saying that we have done well to sneak into the top 8.
Be glad when it's over.

yes this is a big problem with stamina & injuries, first choice centers missing, loan scrum half on the wing only one half back, its a miracle we got into the top 8. same when we got to wembley 2 years ago, the team was falling apart then, so what can be done about it?

Not sure what can be done about it.
An injury is an injury.
We've just had our fair share of them this year.
Players having to constantly play game after game with no rest.
Players out of positions.

Unless we have a squad of 50 players then we just have to soldier on, like we have been doing.
I'm just glad we've made the top 8.
SL status guaranteed next year no matter what happens from now to the play offs.

That was the main problem today. I think they ran 4 in down the middle. Some tired bodies out there, after a long hard season putting their bodies on the line to secure a top 8, I think I can forgive some tiredness around the rook. Has been a hell of a season for injuries.

On a side note Rangi and Gale linked up well a couple of times and their movement looked good. Obviously Rangi was rusty and looked a yard off, but there were glimpses. Was good to see another footballing brain out there besides Gale. There is scope with those two for sure.

Overall score was about what I expected. Good to see Rangi back home.

I think the impact of injuries has been crucial this season
Wire had their first 13 and 15 of their first 17 out there today
We had 6 of the 13 and 9 of the 17
With the exception of Wigan the rest of the current top 4 seem to have suffered less with injuries than the rest of the league.
I think we have done better than could reasonably be expected in the circumstances
