We did the same to Jy Hitchcox last year when we signed Pete Matautia.
Hitchcox was loaned out to Bradford so we could sign Mata’utia. All happened on same day :D

Just seen that, I wonder how this came about? Have we paid Horo off to make space for Tanginoa? Or did Horo ask to be released so we moved in for Tanginoa?

He didn't want to go until the end of the season. He has received a full payout though so that bit was 'mutual' i suppose but that is it. A good few senior players at Wakey are far from happy about the situation as well and that of Pauli. The first cracks are beginning to show.

Strange stuff. Loan out Pauli because he's not getting a game to bring in a centre as they are short in the backs. Then release a centre to bring in a back rower. Also they have to pay an extra wage after paying off horo.

All this and no money to upgrade the stadium plus the loan debt.

Doesn't make any sense. Good luck to them

We own our ground and have no debt. I would say we are in a great place to do as we want. We needed a fullback after the Zak issue was finally resolved and so moved out a winger for one. They have moved out a back rower for another.

We sign Blair and it takes 3 weeks for him to get a visa.

Wakefield sign this guy today and he is playing this weekend.

How did they sort it out with such speed.

We signed Blair when we had Bank Holidays. May have also been kept under wraps for a few weeks too until all paperwork went through?

Maybe because we announced it the minute he signed to shut the fans up and Wakefield waited until they had all their ducks in a row to make the most of the feel good factor that a new signing brings?

The deal was done weeks ago but not announced until they released Arona so all Visa stuff went through a week or 2 back.
