Catalan dragons

Post by old cas lass » 11 Mar 2017, 21:41

Lost 2 influential players yesterday for a couple of months.
Don't we play them in a few weeks.

Following their 46-10 defeat against Leeds Rhinos last night, the Catalans Dragons have suffered two lengthy injuries to key players Jodie Broughton and Greg Bird.

Both players have undergone scans and it has been revealed that Broughton has suffered a torn bicep that will require surgery, leaving him out of action for around four to six months.

Meanwhile Bird, who has arguably been the Dragons best player so far this season, will miss six to eight weeks with a broken thumb and will undergo surgery on Monday.

The news is a massive blow for Catalans head coach Laurent Frayssinous who must now rely on his squad players to come in and perform.

Bird is a massive loss, though they won't be stopping us.
