Re: Ben westwood
so what you guys/girls think he will get my guess is 3-4 games
Re: Ben westwood
I'm still not convinced the impact was on the neck/head. Looked to be chest then he banged his head on ground after.
Don't get me wrong it was late and careless but surely if it was on the head/neck there would be a facial injury. Think it's been blown out of all proportion.

Re: Ben westwood
It was a swinging arm and although started hitting the shoulder ended up under his chin. Deffo red card. Blatant. RFL think so as well 3-5 games. Hope he gets maximum

Re: Ben westwood
I'm not sure the point of contact is the real question in this case. There was absolutely no need for Westwood to raise his arm to strike Sutcliffe at all. At worst, and as referred to by Paul Aiton on The Super League show, he could have simply put his arms around Sutcliffe but no, he chose to attack him and there's no other way to describe it. It's not the first time he's done it and I fear it won't be the last but a 5 game sabbatical is the least he should expect.tallguyx wrote:No I'm not I've seen it literally hundreds of times.chesterfieldtiger wrote:Joking right????

There was a chicken wing tackle by keinhorst which I'm surprised was called up. Dad Clarke wasn't happy about it.

Re: Ben westwood
Can't believe he hasn't got the maximum number of games especially with his previous!

Re: Ben westwood
4 games is the maximum for grade D isn't it?

Re: Ben westwood
I think grade D is 3 to 5 games . Keinhorst charged with grade A for twisting a leg in the tackle , I thought it would have been more ? Daz Clarke wasn't happy about it ! used guilty plea so no action taken !

It s his arm. He held his wrist and shoulder and used it to bring the man to the floor. Looked painful
