Wigan

Post by Classy B » 20 May 2017, 21:45

I see, Thaler's love affair with Wigan, is showing no signs of diminishing. They were lucky to not have at least two sin binings in the last quarter not to mention the dodgy knock on against brown in the dying minutes.

Most other teams, would have been punished for the same mistakes, but Wigan just carry on getting away with it.

Ps :- A bit disappointed with Rangi's Widnes debue

Felt bad for Rangi. His players had no idea what to do and what to expect. If Rangi makes his runs in our team, our players adapt and make a run. Widnes just stood.

The whole widnes team are shocking rangi doesn't have much to work with, i thought he would link up well with hanbury but i dont think he passed to him all game. An half back is only as good as his runners and nobody was making any runs they just stood back to see what rangi was going to do.

Widnes look out of their depth at the moment, look to have some promising young players but they look certs to be in the million pound game. Id like to think if we get the result today we can rest a few for next weekend.

As for Wigan Frank "the plank" should get a ban for the boot throwing....but it wouldn't surprise me if he escapes one and Jack Hughes cops one for touching Thaler attempting to draw his attention to the incident!

Thought all the officiating was very poor again yesterday. How didn't O'Loughlin get 10 mins for the high shot is a joke! On Widnes, you gotta feel for them they've been doing it tough with injuries this year (noticed all there's weren't reeled off by the commentary team like Wigans were before the game) and looked completely devoid of ideas near the Wakey line but they were on the end of some shockers from Kendall and didn't get a 50/50 call all day.

If they don't get near their starting 17 playing week in week out soon you've gotta think they will be really vulnerable in the middle 8s and the championship sides will smell blood when they play them.

How many more times, are the RFL, going to allow thaler to ref a Wigan game. Surely they must have some sense of embarrassment. It's must be borderline corruption/ bribery by now, based on the number of times thaler has blatantly sided with Wigan. Evan the BBC are embarrassed

My only real criticism of BT is also that generally he is somewhat Wigan biased. Generally he has over the last 3 years reffed us more than OK, apart from that particular game against Wigan.

However today I think people are going OTT. He missed a forward pass for one of Wigan's tries, apart from that I don't see what he did fundamentally wrong and was consistent in his decisions. On the flip side he could have binned two Warrington players, in fact in Ratchford's case should have done. Tripping and a deliberate one at that, has I have always thought, been an automatic yellow.

Won't happen this year. Warrington are three points behind them with only one game to play.

I used to have time for burgess, a nice lad who's made it. But of late he's shown his true Wigan attitude and arrogance. He belittled other clubs, in an interview about us, and then he started mouthing at other players, trying to cause fights and now trying this stunt. Someone needs to take him down a peg or two.

Hope he gets a ban for unsportsmanlike conduct, but I doubt it cos it's Wigan.
