Re: Marwan Koukash
The old doc not happy with there attendance today of 3277.
That really is poor.
Today's attendance was very disappointing. This is despite reducing ticket prices to £10. The club and the team deserves better

Re: Marwan Koukash
After our game at the A J Bell stadium, I went for a couple of drinks in the Barleycorn pub just as you head away from the stadium. Obviously wearing our colours, I was drawn into conversation with Salford supporters and , their main point was that they and the majority of Salford fans was they wanted to to get out of the stadium as quick as possible, they hated the place. They said the location was keeping at least 3,000 away, and couldn't fault these guys for their friendliness, 2 pints sent for me and my mate.old cas lass wrote:The old doc not happy with there attendance today of 3277.

I thought they may move in with Salford FC as they are redeveloping their ground.

the crowd was just short of 5,000 and the voluntary contributions raised £29,000 meaning the average donation was about £6 per person.

aye, 1,405. Sheffield also shocking, less than 300 for a big city club.

Re: Marwan Koukash
Marwan has of late managed to conduct himself in a far more measured and professional manner.
He has invested heavily and Salford as we know they are a quality outfit and are IMO the second most entertaining side in Super League.
He and the players must be gutted by such apathy, surely it must only be a matter of time before he walks away and that could spell the end of Salford.
We have seen the bizarre situation were the visiting fans outnumber the Salford fans.
I have never understood how championship teams can afford anything more than paying for their utilities never mind anything else with the attendances in the low hundreds in some case.

Agree. I didn't like his attitude or approach to dealing with perceived problems when he first got involved in RL but he's been more measured recently. You can't fault his commitment and its a shame the local community don't seem interested in supporting the club but in that part of the world they seem to have a bizarre preference for watching 22 foreigners with expensive hair playing wendyball.

Re: Marwan Koukash
why do sky always interview him after live games? it was the same again on Thursday, instead of just players and coaches being interviewed it has to have marwans mug in front of the camera.
