Funny. Wigan slip down the league and he now talks like this knowing they'd be included if international expansion ever came off!Danny Boy wrote:Following the announcement that Wigan will play South Sydney in Australia in 2018, Wigan Chariman, Ian Lenagan is open to further games against NRL opponents, as he revealed ambitious plans for international expansion by suggesting to a New Zealand radio station that he wants to see his Warriors side take on New Zealand Warriors in London.

I'm sure the Wigan fans will be delighted
I can only think he is fixing a sub from Sky or RFL to make up the lost revenue

Personally, I think these matches devalue the world club championship. To play an nrl team you had to be the best, now it's just for finance. Sky should snub anybody getting a tv deal for it and then see how viable they think it is.
