A very sad day for them yesterday you have to feel for the lads playing a game with their jobs on the line, CAS fans know the feelings that their supporters are going through, the players agents will be busy this morning trying to sort contracts out, having watched a part of the game I don't think with no disrespect, that there is a player in the Leigh team that would fit in at CAS, but seeing BEN CROOKS is still in contract with us we will have to pay his wages for next season

They are staying full time so don't be surprised to see Crooks and many more stay on.

I'd take James Clare as full-back cover.
If he wasn't such a liability, Acton could be a cracking player. Unfortunately he can't control himself.

I agree, particularly as I'm still sponsoring him on this site!

James Clare, scored some cracking trys when he was with us, but we seem to have number of backs that we will be trying to put out on dual next year, and there is always our under 19S full back who could do a job for us when called on

Acton might not be a bad call. Dare so his stock is low at the moment so inexpensive option. Certainly meets the big nasty forward criteria many have called for. Question mark is clearly his mentality.

Derek beaumont is building a good team for the championship and he seems a nice fella. It'll be a straight shoot out between then and Toronto, I get the feeling that the Toronto owner might just out muscle then financially in the end.

If you look at the Championship next year it is going to have Toronto staking a serious claim to go straight up into SL. Leigh look like they are going to try to spend their way out of yo-yo team status.

Avoiding the middle 8 is going to be crucial next year. Could easily be 2 SL sides going down. Widnes have to be favorites, but could be any other team too based on form/injuries etc.

Mitch Brown has signed for Wire from leigh

Rumoured to be after Mcgillvary and Charnley and signed Brown, some of their fans aren't happy at all

Sound familiar?? ;)

It does sound familiar. Unfortunately it's the way the game is going at the moment. No big name signings happening anywhere. It makes you wonder what some fans expectation levels are at times. We finish top of the pile in 2017 and all of a sudden we are world beaters.
