So RFL has decided on next England coach, just aren't announcing him yet. The wheels grind slowly sometimes in rugby league.

From Chris Irvine ‘s twitter account.
I wonder who it could be.

LE says Powell to take over in 2020 on 4 year deal.

Bennett to remain coach until then and Powell to join his backroom staff.

I aren't sure how long he's signed for. But if a club came in for Powell and offered some cash our Board would take their hands off i'd guess.

I’ve heard today Bennett/Betts for the next couple of years and Powell after with Danny Orr to take over as Cas Coach. All rumours as always, I’m not in the know at all.

I'm sure that if Bennett can do the job part-time from Aus, then Powell could do it part-time from Cas.

The Eng job is not full time, never has been.

We play like 3 games a year.

think DP said in an interview last year he would only be interested if it was part time. I'm pretty sure the long term plan has always been to groom danny as powells successor and lets not forget he did pretty well when in temporary charge. betts seemed concerned in a recent interview that he has not yet had his England contract re-newed
