To leave Wigan at end of current season! That’s a shocker. Glad he’s gone though! Can’t stand the bloke

Have you ever met him? I know I have on a number of occasions, always very courteous and will talk to both home and away fans.

I have indeed yes. On numerous occasions actually. All after Wigan had lost. Petulant and not humble. Suppose each occasion he might have been down due to the loss but the man is full of excuses and supports a dirty game. Come on look at how Wigan play.

I was going to say, it’s inevitable that Powell’s name will appear. They managed to take Raper away from us. Will our club stay strong? Will Powell not force the move and remain loyal? Thoughts?

Looking like Shaun Edwards is the favourite.

Edwards to Wigan is my guess. I doubt Powell would go there in all honesty.

Very early to speculate but do you not think Wigan will be thinking about DP at least? Matters not a jot what the fans think.

Let’s hope DP isn’t interested and wants to stay here. We would never get a coach anywhere near his calibration

You must all have talked to a different Shaun wane to me. He’s a top bloke, maybe he genuinely didn’t know about Hardaker.

His rugby tactics/club aside he’s alright. Far nicer than Brian McDermott in my experience

Is Shaun Edwards contract up at the Welsh R.U?

I don't think it will be such a big change for him, most R.U sides implement R.L attacking lines of running & defensive patterns. Wigan could employ a director of rugby like a Jon Wells type to help him.

According to proper sport pod cast tonight Edwards won’t be coming to league until 2020 season. So Wigan will have a year with an interime coach.
Gary schofield believes wane as been undermine hence his departure.

Edwards is wanted by England as defence coach. They'd pay top dollar.
