Denver Test

Post by usacas » 23 Jun 2018, 22:56

Enjoying the game, 26 unanswered points from England. Best part ref not miked up so don’t have to listen to the Ben Thaler show and him shouting “moooooove” every few seconds. Why do we have to tolerate it with Super League games on Sky??

Should have took action when Issac Luke stood on Bateman hand, intentionally.
That was disgraceful, Thaler bottled it.

Suppose to have been just over 19k there (didn't look like it though). Was never gonna fill the 75k + stadium.

But yes the foot stomp should've been deemed more than a red. He should have been shown the red and then made to climb and watch the rest of the game from the top of the third tier.

Hate to admit it but I was impressed by Connor (the grub) when he came on. Looked a lot more of a threat than Lomax. I cant see him getting the nod for a starting place when golden balls Williams is fit but he is a bit unpredictable which England lack.

A half back that took the line on...who'd have thought it!

Thought Connor showed more in his cameo than Williams has in his International career

Not a fan of Connor at all but was a cracking debut.

Thought he showed hell of a lot more than Gale as well as Williams , hope he keeps his place for the upcoming test games.

I like Connor but he is a grub on the pitch.

I don't see what lomax brings to the team if not for fullback cover.

Ib think we got lucky with injuries during the match. No spare hooker, wing and halfback on bench and only 2 forward subs..
