JEEZ    ....And we worry about having 2 million debt which is well covered by the ground sale, this even makes Salford £8 million look almost prudent.....We are so lucky!!

The figures are truly astonishing and must be way beyond sustainable.

Annual loses of £1.5m with an overall debt of £14/15m . Absolutely no way they can recover those costs so Ken Davy must have very deep pockets.

Cannot understand why the RFL/SL allow this debt to grow?

The price you pay for giving away cheap tickets and also for having less fans.

If people are questioning why they shouldn't get a ST for Cas (and why turning up to game is important), this illustrates the clear difference why it's important.

Another thing worth noting about Giants - Davy has created a fund for the time when he is no longer with us. I have heard a figure of 10 million mentioned - so, it looks like the Giants will still be operating the same as they are now for a while yet.

It sounds ridiculous that they can show that much money owed. If davey leaves or falls out of love he'd lose it all. At the end of the day he's an old man with rugby club owning his hobby.

It shows that there's no money in the game or sport in general. It seems we buck the trend. Which is nice.
